What's so great about doing ice-skating in NY is that you can do it right in the heart of NY, with skyscapers all around you, and with the sense of Christmas and holidays in the air. It was a sunny day, on Dec24 2009, at the pond in Byrant park. Our intention was actually to go to the one in the Rochfeller center, and indeed we thought we were at the Rochfeller center. I wasn't aware of its real name till I did the research again a few days after. Anyway, it was still a nice place. We didn't skate though. It was full of people with a long queue. And even with the winter sun, it was hard to stay outdoors for so long (in the queue).
