Traveled to NYC on thanksgiving day. Since this was my first time in NY, I planned to do some normal sightseeing. But after I got off the bus, I followed the crowd and was right in the middle of the parade. The police blocked all the street nearby from the traffic and it was so crowded full of people. I wasn't lucky enough to get to the front so I could only see the flying balloon. The best part was not about the parade though. It was about the street without any cars. I could walk right in the middle of the street and got a quite different perspective than I could normal do on the side of the street. A very nice experience indead, right in the heart of NYC. I guess people don't get this chance that often.
This picture reminds of the end of the world, when giant robots flying in the sky eliminating humans : ) I love the sky light also, which resembles a powerful beam of the UFO.
Other interesting photos of NYC in the following few days : )
