Day 119: NY Central Park

Day 119: NY Central Park
I thought it was just a park, and I had been to hundreds (if not thousands) of parks here and there before. So the central park was never on my to-see list in NY. Had it not for a friend who visited me and we went to NY together, I probably would never set my feet in the park before I leave the States. But once we got out of the metro and entered the park, I loved the park at first sight. I liked that you could be in one of the busiest cities in the world in the first minute and be in the calmest place in the second. The park was a god's send to all people in the city and a salvation to their hectic lives. While in the park, you could feel the serenity around you. However, the skyscrapers surrounding the park reminds you of the city life. But this by no means ruins the calmness. It's like a blend of fine tea that's just right.

P.S. even though it was spring and the snow was long gone, they made this ice ground field for the competition that day.
