Day 93: Behind the scene: how I scan my slides

Day 93: Behind the scene: how I scan my slides
To save some money, I only asked the lab to develop my films. So I figured out a way to somehow scan them by my DSLR. It's great that they just upgraded my work laptop and now it has a very bright screen. So I just loaded a blank webpage, made it full screen, and used it as a lightbox. I used some transparent plastic to sandwich the film so that it didn't curl. The results are OK, though the color is still a little bit off and the resolution is low. Till I have a proper scanner, I will have to live with this method for now......
