One thing that quite stroke me here was that whenever it started to snow, the road workers would immediately began to clean the road off the snow. This was quite different from what they did in Sweden, where people cared less about the road conditions in winter. I guessed it was because of the tires they used. In Sweden, people need to change to winter tires for better grip. But here nobody cares to change tire. That might be the reason they had to clean the road as soon as the snow started to cover the road.
