Day 71: Self-recipe continued.

Day 71: Self-recipe continued.
To continue with the battle with post-holiday depression, I ordered a ticket to see the play " fetch clay, make man", in McCarter theatre Princeton. Just found a way to buy student ticket, for 12 bucks, I got a premium seat that normally cost 55 bucks. For this play, they re-built the stage so that there were several rows of seat on two sides of the stage. I got one of those seats and as you can see, it was very close.

It was a story about the heavyweight champ Muhammad Ali and his Hollywood star friend Stepin Fetchit. It was quite different from the two previous plays I saw. Compared to them, this was very plain. The stage setup was like what was shown in this picture, without change for the entire play. And I had to say I was not very interested in the story itself. But the actors' performances were really amazing and because of the close distance, I felt it to be so vivid and real. Anyway, it was a different experience, and a good one in fact.
