This is a typical landscape in the Joshua tree national park. I have never been to such a remote place with deserted land and wild scenes. I've come to the right place to experience all these wildness.
The national parks are what I think one of the best things in the States. They are often well preserved and easily accessible by car. However, it's the latter that makes them superior to their counterparts in other part of the world. Not like the parks in Europe or other places, where hiking is necessary to reach the most part of the parks. Here in the States, often a large part of the parks can be reached easily by car. That makes the park not just for the adventurers but for the general public. More people can come and admire the craftsmanship of the mother nature.
